The real face of St Valentine – or not?

It’s Valentine’s Day today and what better way to celebrate than taking a closer look at the skull of the martyred saint himself. It’s held in an Italian church in the province of Padua. And Brazilian designer Cicero Moraes has employed the magic of digital technology to approximate what he really looked like.

Of course, there’s no guarantee that this is the skull of Saint Valentine – but I don’t want to be a total spoilsport.
